What is Homun incubation in LordNine: Infinite?

Homuns are companion units incubated from Culture Cells — monster drops that come in sixteen tiers, from Cell #1 worth a single point up to Cell #16 worth 768. Every incubation consumes exactly ten cells, and the sum of their point values decides two things: which of the thirteen grades your Homun rolls in, and the probability split between the genomes available at that grade. Within each grade the odds favor the four “common” genomes heavily (the base split is roughly 49%, 43%, 5%, and 2% across the top bundle), so chasing a specific rare genome is a numbers game — one this calculator lets you play on paper before you spend anything.

How to use the calculator

• Grade Calculator tab — choose your target grade and genome bundle, and a tier target (Tier I/II/III/IV = budgeting for 1/2/4/8 incubations). You get the minimum-point and maximum-point ten-cell combinations for that grade, the full probability table per genome, and the cheapest way to buy the missing cells.
• Incubation Simulator tab — hand-pick any ten cells you own or plan to buy, and see exactly which grade that total lands in and the weighted odds across all eight possible outcomes.
• My Inventory — enter cells you already own and every purchase recommendation subtracts them before pricing.

How the math works

The grade boundaries, cell point values, and genome probability weights are taken from the game's own data tables, so the percentages shown are the same ones the game rolls against. Note the probabilities shift with your point total: hitting a grade's minimum threshold and hitting near its ceiling can produce noticeably different odds for the genome you actually want, which is why the tool shows both the minimum and maximum combinations and flags which section gives you the best chance.

Buying cells: how the price recommendation works

Culture Cell chests are sold on the player marketplace in x10, x50, and x100 sizes, and bigger is not always cheaper per cell. The calculator pulls live listings for your realm (Origin or Frontier), works out the cheapest chest size for each cell you are short of, and sorts complete purchase plans by total USDt cost — with an in-stock marker so you don't plan around a listing that isn't actually there. If you are budgeting multiple incubations, set the tier target first: quantities and costs scale with it, and a plan that looks cheap for one incubation can change shape entirely at eight.

Practical tips

• The minimum combination is optimized to be easy to farm (lower cell tiers, fewer rare cells) — use it when you mostly farm your own cells.
• The maximum combination squeezes the best odds out of the grade — use it when you are buying cells anyway and want every percentage point.
• Combining cells aimed at two different genomes makes the outcome roughly a coin flip between them — the simulator warns you when a mix does this. Decide what you want before you incubate.
