Ask players of Lord Nine: Infinite Class (LordNine) which hidden class to get first and the answer is still, begrudgingly for some of us, Destroyer. It's the most versatile of the eight — genuinely strong in PvP at every scale (1v1, 5v5, and full wars), perfectly usable in PvE, and not married to any particular weapon. If you only ever build one hidden class, this is the default.

How to Unlock Destroyer
Hidden classes in LordNine unlock automatically when you carry a specific combination of six abilities at the same time. The combo is arranged as three slots with two interchangeable options each — you need one ability from both columns of every row, active simultaneously on the same character. Order doesn't matter, and the abilities can come from any base class you've leveled.
| Slot | Option A | Option B |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ||
| 2 | ||
| 3 |
Swapping any qualifying ability out of your active build reverts the class until the combo lines up again — plan swaps carefully. For every other combo in the game, see the complete hidden class combination reference.
The Class Skill: Land Crush
![]()
Class Skill: Jumps to a target within a 7m radius and deals Combined Damage around the target and inflicts Knockdown for 2 sec with a +60% chance. (Up to 10 targets) Applies Damage Immunity to the caster for 2 sec.
A gap-closer, an AoE knockdown on up to ten targets, and a 2-second immunity window on cast — one button that engages, disrupts, and protects at the same time. It's the engine behind Destroyer's PvP dominance: dive the backline, flatten a cluster, and shrug off the counter-burst while your team follows up.
Worth knowing before you invest: on the Korean server, Land Crush's damage immunity has been removed entirely. Regional versions don't always follow each other, but if you're deciding how deep to invest — especially toward the 800 milestone — keep that possibility in mind.
What Destroyer Is Actually Good At
Everything, honestly — that's the problem the rest of the roster has with it. It's the premier PvP hidden class in 1v1s, small skirmishes, and guild wars alike, and it farms and bosses respectably. The 500 milestone (Skill Damage +7%, Cooldown Decrease +10%) and the double +100 Attack/Defense at 700 keep it statistically ahead in almost any content.
Earthquake at Ability Level 800
The 800 skill turns the area around you hostile for 10 seconds: a circular AoE that ticks 75% bonus Physical Damage every 2 seconds with a 50% chance to stun for 1 second per tick. In practice, anything that stands in your earthquake spends half its time stunned and all of its time taking damage — it's widely considered one of the strongest 800 skills in the game, and the biggest single reason Destroyer holds the top PvP spot.
Build: Weapons, Stats, and Relics
Destroyer pairs well with every weapon — that versatility is the identity. Gear is equally open: leather, plate, and cloth builds all work.
Relic priority: Origin of Destruction (Attack) first, then Barrier of Protection (Defense) and Crystal of Life (HP) roughly equal, with Magic Storm (Skill Damage) last. Plan the Temporal Piece grind with the relic calculator.
Ability Total Level Bonuses
| Ability Total Level | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 100 | Defense Penetration +50 |
| 200 | Movement Speed +8% |
| 300 | Attack Speed +8% |
| 400 | Attack Power +70 |
| 500 | Skill Damage +7%, Cooldown Decrease +10% |
| 600 | Landing Attack increases the caster's Attack Power and Defense Power for 60 sec. |
| 700 | Attack Power +100, Defense Power +100 |
| 800 | Earthquake — Causes an Earthquake around the caster for 10 sec, dealing an extra 75% Physical Damage to targets in range every 2 sec with a +50% chance to Stun for 1 sec. |
Your ability total level is the sum of every ability level on your build, so any ability you level walks you up the ladder. Milestones 100–500 come fairly quickly — the game hands out Expert and Maestro scrolls often. At 600 the wall starts: promoting an ability tag from level 90 to 100 takes a Master Scroll, crafted from 10 Maestro Scrolls, and you need six of them. 700 and 800 are long-haul goals if you rely on freebies and grinding alone — the 800 milestone effectively asks for four ability tags at level 140 and two at 120, where 100→120 costs one Master Scroll and 120→140 costs two more.
Verdict
Still the best hidden class in the game and the recommended first unlock for new players. The most common follow-ups are Immortal Knight for dedicated PvP characters, or a farm-focused class like Harbinger of Storms for alt grinding.
